Pierre Yves Clouin has been working exclusively in film since 1995. He was born and is based in Paris. He studied architecture at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, and later exhibited his paintings and photos.
His work has been honoured with prizes and distinctions such as the Silver Spire Arward San Francisco International Film Festival and Institut français Hors les murs residency
